Yucca Valley Town Council Electoral Districts
Every ten years, cities with by-district election systems must use new census data to review and if needed, redraw district lines to reflect how local populations have changed. This process, called redistricting ensures all districts have nearly equal population.
As part of the process, the Yucca Valley Town Council held four public hearings to receive public input. Meeting agendas/minutes are posted here.

A little history:
In 2018 the Town of Yucca Valley moved from at-large Town Council elections to by-district elections after holding several public hearings. In creating the original final adopted map, the Town Council considered public input, available demographics, neighborhoods and communities of interest, and local features before adopting the final map.
