The Engineering Division of the Public Works Department issues permits for vehicles traveling over Town roads and streets hauling “out-sized” loads (e.g., manufactured homes, mobile offices, large construction equipment, large or very long industrial components, etc.). To assure the requested route will be appropriate for the size and weight of the hauling vehicle and its load, the transporter must complete and submit the Transportation Permit Application at the following link to obtain a Transportation Permit.

  • Please complete the Transportation Permit Application form. A blank copy may be printed, completed, and signed by hand; it can be completed electronically, printed, and signed by hand; or it can be completed and signed electronically, then saved as a PDF.
  • You may use a separate sheet if you need additional space to complete any item or provide additional information. Please be sure to put the Transporter’s contact information on the additional page.
  • After the form is completed, signed, and scanned or saved as a PDF, email it as an attachment to DLothes@yucca-valley.org 24-48 hours in advance of the requested trip date.

Note: The Town of Yucca Valley's offices are closed Fridays through Sundays (and holidays). Please plan accordingly.
