Commissions and Committees are essential to local government and the Yucca Valley Town Council encourages local citizen to actively participate in the issues that are important to our growing rural community.  

While citizen input is welcome at all public meetings, you can make a genuine difference in the community by getting directly involved in local government. 

By being part of the decision-making, you’ll help shape the quality of life in the Town and have an influence in your specific area of concern.  

The Town Council appoints qualified residents to the following commissions and committees that make specific recommendations or otherwise advise the Council on key public and community issues. 

• Planning Commission
• Parks, Recreation and Cultural Commission 
• Revenue Oversight Commission 
• The Youth Commission
