The Town of Yucca Valley Master Plan of Drainage is a comprehensive drainage and flood control plan outlining the development of flood control facilities. It’s aims are threefold: 

  • Improve the Town’s physical environment  
  • Assure public safety  
  • Protect properties from flooding 

The plan reviews and evaluates natural drainage courses, floodplains and existing drainage facilities. Additionally, the Master Plan of Drainage details: 

  • Hydrologic and sediment yield studies  
  • Sizing of regional, secondary and local facilities 
  • Improvement recommendations 
  • Preparation of plan and profile drawings 
  • Cost estimates
