Since fieldtrips and in-person summer camp are currently not possible, the Hi-Desert Nature Museum is offering free monthly Museum Discovery Kits on varying topics from April through July 2021. The kits are intended for students in grade 2 or above and contain fun and educational activities that will keep children engaged for days. 

Spring is finally here, and plants are green and blooming. The first Discovery Kit is all about botany. The kit contains activities for learning all about plant parts and their functions, growing your own herbs from seeds and making beautiful art from pressed plants. 

The pick-up day for the Botany Museum Discovery Kit is Saturday, April 17, 2021. Supplies are limited, please sign up for a kit.
