The Yucca Valley Town Council recently awarded a contract to Pavement Rehab Company for road maintenance crack seal at various locations.

The Town Wide Crack Seal Project is a maintenance effort that is a part of the Town’s overall pavement maintenance program.  Crack sealing is the first step to be implemented prior to the slurry seal of the streets. The maintenance effort is implemented to extend the lifetime of the roadway pavement throughout the Town prior to roads deteriorating to the degree where road reconstruction is necessary.

This week (July 22 – July 25), work is scheduled to occur on:

• Joshua Lane, Northbound, from Palomar Avenue to Onaga Trail
• Golden Bee Drive from Sage Avenue to Joshua Lane
• Buena Vista Drive from SR 247 to Yucca Mesa Road

The contractor will provide notice to residences and businesses that are likely to be affected by the maintenance project. Please slowdown in the work zone for the safety of all.

As with any project, changes in schedules may be necessary due to equipment failures, weather, and many other factors. The Town will provide additional updated project schedule information as the project moves forward.
